Heredia Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our full-time team in providing exceptional telehealth services. As an LMHC, you will play a critical role in empowering young adults (ages 18-30) to navigate their mental health challenges while working in a state-of-the-art virtual outpatient treatment setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

  • Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging and supportive group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences, foster connections, and develop interpersonal skills.

  • Providing Individual Therapy: Deliver personalized, empathetic counseling tailored to each client’s unique challenges, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to encourage self-discovery and healing.

  • Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and specific to their needs, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary.

  • Monitoring Progress: Use various assessment tools and feedback methods to evaluate client progress and outcomes, ensuring their journey is moving in a positive direction.

  • Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage in teamwork with healthcare professionals, case managers, and family members to coordinate care and consult on intricate cases, ensuring comprehensive treatment for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, a demographic often experiencing significant transitions, pressures, and emotional challenges. This population requires sensitivity, as many clients may be grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. By leveraging your expertise, you will help them develop coping strategies, overcome obstacles, and build a fulfilling future.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts LMHC license.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, beneficial experience may include:

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a generous benefits package that includes:
