Ecommerce Marketing Specialist

Introduction We are a lean team. You will work directly with the CEOs, own day-to-day marketing execution, and coordinate with outside agencies and freelancers. The role We are looking for a hands-on ecommerce marketer who can create strong consumer-facing content and use data to improve performance.About half the role is social media, about a third is Amazon/ecommerce content, and the rest is reporting and other marketing needs. You should enjoy creating something, checking whether it worked, and deciding what to improve next. The role will evolve, so you need to be comfortable working across different areas and figuring things out independently. Duties & Responsibilities What you will own Social media Plan, create, and post across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest for three brand families Create graphics and create and edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social channels Produce simple product demos, UGC-style edits, hooks, text overlays, captions, and edits using existing footage Adapt strong content across platforms rather than creating everything from scratch Write on-brand captions and manage the content calendar Engage with customers and surface useful feedback Track performance and adjust based on results Amazon and ecommerce Improve product pages, including titles, bullets, images, A+ content, and Brand Stores Use competitor activity, customer reviews, click-through, and conversion data to identify opportunities Help create and edit simple video assets for Amazon listings and ads using existing footage, creator content, and product assets Direct our Amazon agency and freelance designers on listing improvements Support new product launches You do not need to be an Amazon operations expert or build every asset yourself. You do need to understand what makes a strong ecommerce product page and be able to explain what should change and why. Reporting and other marketing Own a simple monthly marketing scorecard and turn the data into clear recommendations Coordinate brand assets and outside partners Support creator/UGC outreach, email/SMS, retailer content, packaging, and other marketing projects as priorities change Desired Experience & Qualification You are a fit if you Have 3 to 5 years of ecommerce or consumer marketing experience Have worked across more than one marketing channel Can personally create polished social and ecommerce content, including short-form video Write fluent, natural English Are comfortable using marketing metrics to make decisions Understand ecommerce conversion and merchandising Work independently, question assumptions, and solve problems without waiting for detailed instructions Have worked in a small company, startup, or fast-moving agency environment Amazon experience is highly desirable, but strong Shopify or other ecommerce experience can also be a fit. #J-18808-Ljbffr Unitrade 745 (Pty) Ltd
