Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education certification in School Psychology (required)
• Prior experience with K-12 populations strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently across multiple school sites (assignments to be determined)
• Commitment to supporting student learning, behavior, and emotional health
• Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with educators and families
• Must complete district background check and fingerprinting requirements

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and participate in eligibility determinations
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive student outcomes
• Offer intervention strategies and counseling to students, both individually and in groups
• Contribute to RTI/MTSS processes and crisis interventions when needed
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation as required
