Overview Target Optical is part of EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of world‑class vision care products. Target Optical is seeking a Full‑Time Store Manager to lead a high‑performing team and deliver excellent guest experiences across its 001980 store. Responsibilities Model and coach the store’s Playground Rules and set clear expectations for Guest Ready standards. Orchestrate floor flow and serve as caretaker for every guest and team member. Collaborate with Team Members to develop clear action plans, ensure accountability and provide timely feedback. Create and maintain a culture that is simple, fun and in‑style. Conduct annual performance reviews and monthly coaching conversations for all Team Members. Identify business opportunities and develop actionable improvement plans. Develop professional relationships with Target Optical doctors and host partners to support consultative eye exam experiences. Recruit, hire and retain high‑caliber talent; manage schedules based on forecasts and traffic trends. Perform payroll processing, new‑hire and personnel paperwork, and ensure compliance with shrink and inventory controls. Complete bi‑annual physical inventory and monthly store visit reports for review. Apply operating policies and procedures to merchandising, store presentation, marketing programs and promotions. Ensure accurate sales transactions and utilize sales strategies and resources effectively. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of customer service or retail experience. Entrepreneurial mindset and drive for results. Critical thinking, recruiting, selection and development of talent. Strong selling skills and ability to motivate and influence others. Preferred Qualifications Opticianary license or American Board of Opticians certification. 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
