Overview Employment Type: Part time | Shift: Rotating Shift. The EMT-B/ED Tech role at MercyOne involves providing prompt and effective emergency medical care to patients of all ages in emergency and non-emergency situations. Responsibilities include stabilization, resuscitation, documentation, scene management, and restocking equipment. Responsibilities Provide emergency care as per system protocols. Document care accurately. Follow management structure and NIMS standards for scene management. Decontaminate, clean, and restock equipment used in the ambulance. Support as Emergency Department Technician when not fielding EMT-Basic calls. Qualifications EMT-B Illinois license. Valid driver’s license. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of Emergency Medical Services. Training Preferred: NIMS National Incident Management System 100 (100 NIMS). Basic Life Support certification. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $17.36 - $23.99 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and comparison to similar roles.
