Compensation: $47.85 - $71.72 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Children's Oncology Department at our New Brunswick campus.

• Required:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pediatric RN
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in computer usage
• Preferred:
  • Experience in Pediatric Oncology is advantageous

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active Registered Nurse License in New Jersey
• PALS certification required
• APHON Chemotherapy certification

Night shift, 36 hours per week

The Registered Nurse will deliver nursing care within the framework established by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, while adhering to ethical guidelines as outlined by the ANA code of ethics. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring safety in practice and applying evidence-based principles.
• Identifying and reporting safety concerns, including hazardous conditions and medical errors.
• Understanding the specific patient population served.
• Supervising and directing task delegation among team members, collaborating with other healthcare providers.
• Setting and assessing priorities through measurable interventions aimed at improvement.
• Utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of patients.
