You’ve managed a team of HR Business Partners. You’re excited and ready to build your own team and be the right hand to the Chief People Officer. You have strengths in employee relations, engagement, succession planning, talent management and development. You have supported a diverse range of exempt and non‑exempt staff. Ideally, you would also have union and OD experience. About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Director, Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and help shape the organization’s people strategy. This senior HR leader will drive organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, workforce planning, and leadership development while leading a high-performing HR Business Partner team. The ideal candidate brings executive presence, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence complex business decisions while building trusted partnerships across the organization. Key Responsibilities Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute workforce, talent, and organizational strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead and mentor the HR Business Partner team, creating consistent service delivery, strengthening consultative capabilities, and driving accountability across the organization. Guide organizational design, succession planning, workforce planning, and leadership development initiatives. Lead enterprise‑wide organizational effectiveness and change management efforts in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence. Use workforce analytics and business insights to support strategic decision‑making and improve organizational performance. Provide executive oversight of employee relations, compliance, and risk management, partnering closely with Legal and Labor Relations. Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
