Medical AssistantPride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Casa Grande, AZ.Job Details: Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm Location: Casa Grande, AZ Job Type: Contract Contract Length: 3+ months (possibility of extension) Pay Range: $21/hour to $23/hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Duties:Handle administrative tasks including prior authorizations, insurance eligibility verification, and coordinating authorization requests.Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers by answering calls, communicating updates, and following up on patient needs.Process prior authorizations for medications and procedures, coordinate with insurance companies, and track pending requests.Maintain accurate patient records, assist with billing-related inquiries, and document communications in the EMR.Requirements:Education: High SchoolCertification(s): Medical Assistant Diploma and current BLS certification.Years of experience: 1+ year as medical assistantEqual Employment OpportunityPrideGlobal and it's affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
