Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing Physical Therapists to work closely with patients in their own home environments. The role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement individualized care plans that integrate a variety of treatment techniques and therapies tailored to each patient.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure that adequate attention and time can be devoted to each individual.
• Utilize best practices in orthopedic care to promote functional recovery and mobility improvement.
• Develop and modify fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific requirements, thus motivating them throughout their recovery journeys.
• Employ evidence-based rehabilitation interventions, with a strong emphasis on non-surgical alternatives to minimize medication reliance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to enhance the overall care experience for patients.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Keep meticulous records of patient treatments and progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications to enhance their strength, balance, flexibility, and overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including athletes recovering from injuries, older adults seeking rehabilitation for mobility issues, and individuals focused on improving their overall physical functioning. Each patient's unique journey will call for personalized evaluations and customized treatment methods that promote healing, strength, and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) strongly preferred.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a spotless professional record devoid of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic care.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and able to effectively design and implement exercise regimens.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR), specifically WebPT, for precise patient documentation.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based practices and staying current with advances in physical therapy methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills to engage patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with innovative physical therapy technologies or techniques is an advantage.
• A background in sports rehabilitation is desirable given our focus on athletes and active individuals.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 – 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
