Service Sales Executive – Smart Buildings Automation Controls Service We seek a proactive Service Sales Executive to support our Service Agreements business within the commercial Smart Buildings Automation Controls Service team. The role involves engaging customers, promoting Siemens technology, and growing service and digital offerings across large commercial buildings such as hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities Achieve new order and profit goals based on assigned quota for service projects and agreements. Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities, forecast intake, and deliver on forecasted results. Build expertise on marketplace trends, competitor offerings, and customer decision influencers across the region. Create vertical market and account plans focused on energy, automation, and digital services growth. Identify new business opportunities in adjacent markets and develop go‑to‑market strategies. Act as a consultant to customer organizations, recommending services that align with their business goals. Attend industry events and represent Siemens in professional organizations such as ASHRAE, I2SL, or MGGBC. Consult on budgeting and investment requirements with customers. Position Siemens as an industry leader using world‑class digital service delivery. Collaborate with operations, estimators, and other sales teams to prepare cost estimates and bids. Partner with cross‑functional teams to secure sales and deliver customer outcomes. Attend sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay current on market, business, and product trends. Spend a minimum 50% of time on customer‑facing activities in person and on site. Spend one to two days per week in the office for collaboration and strategy development. Travel overnight approximately 10% for training and business development. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of sales experience or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business with demonstrated customer‑facing experience. Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings independently. Experience with account development and strategic sales skills. Proficient verbal and written communication in English. Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experience with Microsoft Office suite. High School Diploma or state‑recognized GED. 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and limited violations; eligibility for Siemens fleet vehicle program. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering. Experience with software, IoT, and networking. Experience developing energy service opportunities using local and federal incentives. Experience in life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, or commercial office verticals. Experience selling cloud‑based, data‑driven service programs such as fault detection and diagnostics to end users and owners. Compensation Pay range: $60,479–$103,673 annually plus an uncapped commission structure. Actual wage varies based on budget, experience, and location.
