Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control Coordinator in Carrollton, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Monitor and manage access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns. Maintain professional communication with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, incidents, and site-specific needs. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Supervisory experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
