As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activities. Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities, including communicating relevant information to site personnel and first responders as directed. Minimum Requirements: Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
