Experienced Live Jewelry Sales Host

Location: Derwood, Maryland
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour + Biweekly Performance-Based Commission

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and confident sales professional to join our growing team as a Live Jewelry Sales Host .

In this position, you will host live jewelry auctions on Whatnot, present products, interact with customers, answer questions, and create an exciting online shopping experience.

This is a full-time, on-site position at our studio in Derwood, Maryland. It is not a remote position.

Previous livestreaming experience is not required. However, applicants must have at least three years of professional experience in sales, jewelry, fashion, beauty, retail, customer service, or another customer-facing position.

Paid training on our products, livestreaming platform, and sales process will be provided.

What You’ll Do

• Host live jewelry auctions from our Derwood studio
• Present and demonstrate jewelry in an engaging and professional manner
• Describe product details clearly and confidently
• Interact with customers and answer questions during live shows
• Create excitement and encourage customer participation
• Build relationships with new and returning buyers
• Learn and communicate jewelry product knowledge
• Apply effective sales techniques to help increase engagement and sales
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional presence throughout each show
• Work with the team to prepare products and ensure smooth livestream operations
• Help grow one of the fastest-growing live jewelry auction businesses

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in sales, jewelry, fashion, beauty, retail, customer service, or another customer-facing role
• Fluent and confident in spoken English
• Strong communication and customer-engagement skills
• Comfortable speaking continuously during live shows
• Friendly, energetic, confident, and persuasive
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Professional and presentable
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
• Able to learn quickly and respond positively to coaching
• Genuine interest in jewelry, fashion, beauty, or live shopping
• Able to work on-site in Derwood, Maryland, Monday through Friday

Preferred Experience

The following experience is strongly preferred:

• Jewelry sales
• Retail or commission-based sales
• Fashion or beauty sales
• Livestream selling
• On-camera product demonstrations
• Social media content creation
• Hosting, presenting, or public speaking
• Building relationships with repeat customers

Previous livestream experience is a plus, but it is not required if you have strong sales and communication experience.

Camera Requirements

This is a live hosting position, so you must be comfortable speaking during a livestream and presenting jewelry on camera.

Showing your face is optional. The camera may primarily focus on the jewelry and your hands, but you must be able to maintain an energetic and engaging conversation throughout the show.

Applicants must be consistently available for the full scheduled shift.

Compensation

• Starting pay of $16.50 per hour
• Biweekly performance-based commission
