Pre-Suit Paralegal

IDR is seeking a Pre-Suit Paralegal to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you'll support a fast-paced plaintiff personal injury practice by managing pre-suit matters from intake through negotiation and resolution. Position Overview for the Pre-Suit Paralegal:

• Manage plaintiff personal injury cases through the pre-suit phase, ensuring timely progress toward resolution
• Prepare, review, and submit demand packages and supporting documentation to insurance carriers
• Communicate consistently with clients, adjusters, providers, and internal team members to move cases forward
• Review and organize medical records, bills, and related case materials to support negotiations and settlements
• Maintain accurate, well-documented case notes and updates within the case management system

• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury case management experience in a pre-suit environment
• Working knowledge of personal injury claims, insurance coverage, liability, and settlement negotiations
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to build trust and manage expectations
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfort learning case management software
• High school diploma or GED (additional related education a plus)
