About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to spearhead the U.S. launch of a new premium ice cream brand. This senior commercial leader will be responsible for building the U.S. sales engine from the ground up, creating the retail strategy, and establishing the brand's presence in the market. The role demands a hands-on approach, with a focus on opening doors, winning distribution, and building the infrastructure for growth. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the launch, from creating the initial sales plan to building relationships with retailers and distributors, and will be expected to have a strong background in CPG sales, particularly within the ice cream or frozen dessert category. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' CPG sales experience, with a significant background in ice cream, frozen desserts, or a highly relevant frozen category. The role requires a candidate with existing relationships in the U.S. grocery and mass-market retail space, particularly on the West Coast, and a proven track record of successfully launching and growing new products or brands in retail. The ideal leader will have a strong understanding of frozen supply chains, distributors, brokers, and retailer expectations, as well as the commercial acumen to identify and pursue the right opportunities. The position offers the opportunity to shape the commercial direction of the business and is suited to a leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who is adept at building and leading sales teams.
