We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients performing procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. As an MRI Technologist under the direction of a radiologist, duties may include but not be limited to:

• Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
• Facilitate MRI procedures by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material
• Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
• Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
• Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• 1-3 years previous experience as a MRI Technologist
• Clear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical skills
