The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute all fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to blueprints and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of fabricators, fostering skill development and a safe work environment.
• Manage workflow and resource allocation to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot fabrication issues to maintain product integrity.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize manufacturability and resolve design challenges.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the fabrication department.
• Maintain and organize fabrication equipment, tools, and materials to ensure operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fabrication leadership role, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in various fabrication techniques, including welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), cutting (plasma, oxy-fuel, shear), forming (press brake, roll), and machining.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining quality control standards and safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex fabrication challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
