Project Controls Manager

Project Controls SuperintendentWe are seeking an experienced Project Controls Superintendent to support a large-scale, mission-critical data center construction program in Northern Indiana. This role will work closely with project leadership, field teams, and commercial staff to ensure accurate project tracking, progress validation, and alignment between field execution, schedule, and cost reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience combined with an understanding of project controls principles, allowing them to bridge the gap between construction execution and project reporting in a fast-paced, multi-trade environment.Responsibilities:Support daily coordination between field operations and project controls functionsValidate field progress and ensure accurate reporting of installed quantities and work completionWork closely with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors to track real-time progressAssist in maintaining and updating project schedules in coordination with planning teamsMonitor productivity, manpower levels, and installation rates across multiple tradesSupport look-ahead planning and short-interval scheduling (2–6 week planning cycles)Help identify schedule risks, delays, and productivity constraints in the fieldEnsure alignment between field execution, schedule updates, and cost reportingAssist in tracking key project milestones, deliverables, and turnover packagesParticipate in coordination meetings with project controls, construction, and client teamsSupport documentation of field progress, constraints, and corrective actionsPromote strong communication between field leadership and project management teamsQualifications:5–10+ years of experience in construction, preferably in superintendent or field leadership rolesExperience on large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects (data centers preferred)Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field operations, and trade coordinationExposure to project controls, scheduling, or planning functions is highly desirableAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and progress reportsStrong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholdersExperience working in fast-paced, multi-trade construction environmentsProficiency with scheduling tools (P6 or similar) is a plusOSHA 30 certification preferredPreferred Backgrounds:Candidates may come from general contractors, construction management firms, or large-scale infrastructure projects with strong field execution and planning integrationExperience supporting data center or mission-critical construction programs is highly desirableWhat We're Looking For:We are seeking a detail-oriented and field-strong construction professional who can bridge execution and planning.
