TLS also provides sustainment services such as supply chain and logistics IT solutions, spares and repairs, as well as automated test and support equipment.THE WORKAs a member of our Mechanical Engineering team, you will:• Perform Mechanical Engineering development and design functions in support of flight training devices• Develop Mechanical Designs, including Models, Drawings, Parts Selection, and supporting hardware requirement specifications, trade studies, technical evaluations, and logistics support• Drive and design hardware development from concept to on-aircraft testing and verification.• Provide post-delivery technical assistance to customers and support internal reviews of solutions.• Manage technical aspects of design and manufacturing with suppliers.• Perform Static and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis• Support production environment in researching obsolescence to meet production requirementsThis position will require the selected candidate to have the ability to obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance.
