Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Colorado

Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts

• Progressive Care Unit in a 3-time Magnet-designated facility with 345 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for day and night shifts
• Large cardiac population with exposure to telemetry and progressive care patients
• EMR system: Meditech
• Float pool environment providing diverse learning opportunities across medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units
• Collaborative team culture focused on supporting one another and delivering compassionate patient care

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Chemotherapy certification preferred (provides opportunity to work on Oncology unit)
• Flexibility and willingness to float to all inpatient medical/telemetry and rehab units
