In this role, you will help patients build or regain independence in daily activities through individualized treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive equipment following injury, illness, or disability. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary starting at $89,500 per year Medical, Dental & Vision coverage from day one 401(k) with company match and other retirement benefits Student loan repayment and tuition reimbursement opportunities Continuing education coverage (CEU 360 membership) Health and wellness programs supporting physical and mental well-being No productivity mandates – focus on quality of care What You’ll Do Assess patients to establish individualized goals for improving motor function, reasoning abilities, and independence in daily living and work tasks Develop and adjust treatment plans based on progress and goals Plan discharges and communicate care plans with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams Collaborate closely with care teams to coordinate treatment and ensure continuity of care Ensure a safe environment and adherence to infection control standards Help patients select appropriate adaptive equipment when necessary Qualifications Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist BLS/CPR Certification New graduates encouraged to apply; prior experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, lift, push, and pull for prolonged periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs Physical stamina and endurance for a 40‑hour work week Physical Requirements Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift or exert up to 50 lbs Exposure to bodily fluids may occur Visual acuity sufficient for patient assessment and documentation Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment Manual dexterity required for equipment operation and computer use This is a full‑time, day‑shift position working 40 hours per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
