The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Security Officer to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members. What will you do? Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor Conduct cash escorts as required Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity Operate a motorized vehicle when necessary Maintain crowd control as required Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally More about you Must beat least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED Must be licensed by the State Gaming Commission Prior law enforcement, security, or military experience preferred; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus Ability to clear a criminal background check Strong customer service skills required Strong verbal communication, observation, and report writing skills Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED/BBP certification Physical requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to communicate through a two-way radio Bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying occasionally Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night Exposure to an occasionally smoky and loud environment Exposure to large groups and bright/flashing lights Shift details Evenings Weekends 8hr shift Who we are Delaware North Gaming operates Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire.
