This person will plan, schedule, and manage all maintenance activities and work to ensure the all workers meet Aluminum Precision Products' expectations.Job Requirements:Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and facilitiesEnsures all planned maintenance is performed in a timely mannerWork on upgrading or replacing old equipment for continuous improvementInstructs and directs work activities of maintenance and housekeeping employees in assigned work areaPerform personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluationWork to ensure compliance with government agencies, (AQMD, OCHCA, OCSD, WQCB, etc.)Ensure adherence to APP's policies and procedures, including our code of conduct and ethics policy, product safety, employee safety and cultural beliefsStrong and proven management and leadership skills are a mustSet the standard and support Aluminum Precision Products Cultural BeliefsSupport the Plant Manager in achieving the Key ResultsSupport Engineering on continuous improvement projectsSupport EH&S to ensure safety of employees and equipment is paramount and environmental compliance is metSupport Quality department to ensure equipment meets quality demands of all productsDirect responsibility for the safety and performance of all maintenance contractors on sitePerform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.Skill Requirements:High School diploma or GEDHigh degree of technical knowledge in all areas of maintenanceExperience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical industrial repair and maintenance PLC programming knowledgeMicrosoft Office; Internet-based programs, E-mail, experience with an ERP systemEnglish (reading, writing, verbal and comprehend)Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
