Schedule: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Dress Code: Business Casual
Interview: In Person – 2 Rounds
Experience: 2+ years of healthcare experience
License/Certification: Not Required
About the Role
We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support daily healthcare operations and provide an excellent patient experience. This role is ideal for a reliable, mature, and efficient healthcare professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Check in and check out patients and confirm appointments.
Collect and update patient demographics and insurance information.
Perform insurance verification and obtain required patient signatures.
Schedule appointments, referrals, and specialist follow-ups.
Answer incoming and outgoing calls professionally and promptly.
Maintain work queues and front-desk in-basket tasks.
File, fax, scan, and maintain accurate medical records.
Monitor fax servers and ensure documents are assigned to the appropriate electronic chart.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies .
Collaborate with Providers, Medical Assistants, Nurses, PSA, Echo Technicians, and other team members.
Crosstrain and provide coverage at other locations as needed.
Ideal Candidate
2+ years of healthcare experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Efficient, organized, and detail-oriented
Dependable and responsible with a professional approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Demonstrated longevity and commitment in previous roles
Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse healthcare team
