Manager, Program Activation We are looking for a Manager, Program Activation. Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end campaign journey setup, optimization, and enhancement across direct and trade channels using AJO, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and integrated martech tools. Utilize data and insights to create personalized and effective customer journeys across multiple channels. Manage tactical deployment timing, quality control, and audience segmentation/targeting. Serve as a technical expert for complex campaign troubleshooting and optimization. Manage all 1:1 transactional communication. Lead, mentor and develop a team of campaign activation experts, providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team. Provide technical guidance and hands‑on support for complex campaign implementations. Drive professional development and technical skill advancement across the team. Develop, monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvements. Use data and insights to inform decision‑making and optimize future marketing programs. Communicate channel performance, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership. Develop the campaign activation process and ensure it is followed. QC all tactic outputs for list and message accuracy. Provide new creative solutions to improve email, mobile and direct mail. Leverage marketing automation platforms (Adobe, Salesforce) to streamline campaign execution and improve efficiency. Stay current with martech industry trends and recommend technology upgrades or additions. Ensure data quality, compliance, and technical performance across all platforms. Knowledge & Skills The Manager, Program Activation is a tactical expert with a strategic outlook who is responsible for driving the operational excellence from our marketing technology stack, with a primary focus on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and our Customer Data Platform (CDP). This role combines hands‑on operational management, technical expertise, and team leadership. The role is responsible for managing a team of Campaign Activation Specialists while serving as the operational lead for our martech strategy and implementation. This role requires advanced problem‑solving skills, particularly in analyzing complex datasets to uncover actionable insights that inform marketing strategy. The Manager must anticipate challenges such as complex marketing calendars, fluctuating guest behavior, competitive market shifts and campaign performance variability. Solutions often involve synthesizing data from multiple sources, building custom reporting and applying predictive analytics to optimize conversion rates and reduce cancellations. The role also demands agility in adjusting based on real‑time performance metrics. This role has a significant impact on the business by shaping the standards and execution of consumer marketing programs that drive revenue and guest loyalty. By strategically leading the operational use of our martech products and capabilities, the role influences key performance indicators across the marketing funnel. The campaigns and initiatives led by this role directly contribute to the organization’s financial success and set benchmarks for personalized marketing excellence. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, including direct management of a team of marketing professionals. The Manager is responsible for mentoring and developing team members, fostering an innovative, collaborative and high‑performing culture. Understanding of workplace policies and procedures; familiarity with team collaboration tools and techniques. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance, capacity to be punctual and meet deadlines, ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work as part of a team, and demonstrated professionalism in all interactions and tasks. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years in CRM, lifecycle marketing or marketing operations. 3+ years managing teams. Hands‑on experience building and deploying campaigns in platforms like Adobe Journey Optimizer or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Experience with enhanced email tools such as Litmus, MoveableInk, etc. Strong understanding of campaign orchestration and journey design. Excellent project management abilities, adept at handling multiple projects and priorities. Proficiency in data analysis and a data‑driven decision‑making approach to marketing. Preferred Qualifications Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Familiarity with marketing tools, project management software and data analytics platforms. Travel Less than 25% non‑shipboard travel likely.
