IT Coordinator

Lincolnwood Public Library is seeking a solution-oriented and composed IT professional with excellent decision-making skills. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate well with people with varying levels of technology knowledge and will enjoy working directly with equipment, staff, and patrons. The IT Coordinator is responsible for: being the daily contact for our managed service provider and other third-party technology support vendors providing in-house technology support for minor issues collaborating with supervising managers to provide training to a team of 30 staff members maintaining necessary documentation developing and presenting technology programs to the community, including one-on-one appointments for specialized topics preparing information technology budget requests annually acting as Person-in-Charge with responsibility for enforcing the library's policies and communicating with the Director as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree with a technology-related field of study, or associate’s degree and 3 years experience in a technology-related position, or high school diploma and 5 years experience in a technology-related position Minimum of two years of experience in a library setting Health insurance, dental, and vision - (100% paid by employer) IMRF 18 days of vacation per year, increasing to 23 days of vacation after the first year 12 days of sick leave per year Paid holidays 6 weeks of paid parental leave, eligible after the first year of employment Benefits are approved annually by the Board of Trustees Lincolnwood Public Library District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
