Regional Operations Director

Position Overview Provide operational direction and oversight, and strategic leadership to Legacy Thrift stores in the Michigan / Indiana region. Serve as the primary connection between store leadership and corporate, helping stores achieve excellence, strengthen volunteers, develop leaders, and advance the gospel-based mission of Legacy Thrift. Key Responsibilities Coach and support store managers and Local Leadership Teams through regular store visits and meetings. Drive continuous improvement in sales, donations, volunteer engagement, and customer service. Entrepreneurial leadership, within the framework of Legacy Thrift’s mission and strategies, to drive store-level excellence and volunteer satisfaction. Build ministry and community relationships to strengthen partnerships. Contribute to the Legacy Operations Team on strategic planning, store and policy innovation and improvement, and leadership development. Qualifications. Passion for advancing the mission of Legacy Thrift: supporting global missions through local thrift. Leadership experience, including volunteers or staff, in retail and/or thrift. Strong coaching and relationship-building skills, ministry experience preferred. Excellent communication and organization skills. High integrity with a servant-leadership style. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Willingness to travel regularly in Michigan and Indiana. Success in this role is demonstrated by strong store performance, growth in sales and volunteer engagement, effective local leaders, and healthy community and ministry partnerships. Full-time, salaried position. Typical schedule Monday through Friday, with flexibility for store needs and occasional evenings.
