Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kenner, LA. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the commercial property restoration market, including building relationships with property managers, business owners, insurance representatives, and other key stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach and follow-ups, managing a pipeline of leads, preparing proposals, and supporting bid submissions. The specialist will collaborate with operations and project teams to understand service capabilities, align client needs with solutions, and maintain regular communication to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The role also involves tracking market trends, attending local networking events, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives. Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills to engage prospects, build relationships, and support clients throughout the sales process. Analytical skills and market research capabilities to evaluate opportunities, understand industry trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Lead generation experience, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and maintaining an organized sales pipeline. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent the company professionally at client meetings and industry events. Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within construction, restoration, or related services. Comfort working on-site and in the field, with a valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed. Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software to document activities, manage contacts, and report on performance.
