Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist.

• Assist patients with functional mobility training, including transfers, ambulation, and the use of assistive devices (e.g., walkers, canes).

• Guide patients through strengthening and balance exercises to improve mobility and stability.

• Observe and assess patients during therapy sessions, documenting their responses, progress, and any changes in condition.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress.

Requirements:

• Licensed or certified as a Physical Therapy Assistant in PA

• CPR certification (preferred).

• 1+ year experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility

• Compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled patients.

• Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and provide hands-on therapy.
