Travel Occupational Therapist Opportunity In Canton, IL

Make a meaningful difference as a travel occupational therapist in Canton, IL. We are seeking a dedicated occupational therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role supports patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration while providing professional growth in a new setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with ADL/IADL training, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic modalities preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:30 - 16:30.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week.
• Guaranteed hours: 35 per week.
