Lead Medical AssistantAs a Lead Medical Assistant, you will report to the Center Administrator. This is an onsite outpatient clinic setting located in North Charleston, SC.As a Lead Medical Assistant, you will perform clinical duties such as:Discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signsAdminister medications and vaccinesPerform phlebotomy, and collect specimensPerform diagnostic screening tests and sterilize and clean equipmentMaintain examination rooms and document information into the electronic medical records systemCollaborate closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.The Lead Medical Assistant possesses advanced skills and knowledge, contributes to process improvement, delivers in-depth education/training, and provides advanced guidance/mentoring to other Medical Assistants.Use your skills to make an impactRequired:Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR Certified3 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic settingThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.Preferred:Phlebotomy experience• Medication/vaccine administration experienceValue Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communicationScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $48,300 - $65,900 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
