Associate Manager, AMER Commercial Marketing

Translate business objectives into marketing briefs, channel strategies, and execution plans supporting revenue-driving priorities across the Americas. Assist with developing and implementing Commercial Marketing strategies and Americas-specific programs across paid, owned, earned, and partner channels. Execute the Campaign Marketing process, documentation, and workflow. Lead cross-functional discovery, kickoff, and ongoing project meetings; develop presentations, timelines, worksheets, and marketing project plans. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and agencies to define initiative specifications and implement approved initiatives. Provide strategic guidance and maintain communication to keep initiatives on track, on time, and effectively implemented. Identify project risks, dependencies, and decision points; escalade issues and recommendations to the manager. Maintain leadership updates and obtain necessary approvals. Execute programs through IHG processes, systems, and operations. Monitor competitive activity and make recommendations to management. Establish campaign controls for accurate measurement and analysis; monitor and optimize performance with Marketing Effectiveness. Present campaign results, recommendations, project storytelling materials, and leadership information. Build working relationships across functions and levels, influence stakeholders, and support timely execution. Support the manager with other marketing projects as necessary. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience 2 to 5 years of progressive work-related experience in a corporate marketing environment Technical proficiency relevant to the position, including internal and external communications and creative development Knowledge of marketing concepts and basic marketing principles Experience in integrated marketing campaigns and commercial-driving tactics preferred Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills General knowledge of hotel systems and operations beneficial Presentation and facilitation skills Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required Ability to use AI tools and resources responsibly and effectively Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, with a strong focus on campaign performance analysis and stakeholder communication.
