Texas Licensed Lab QA Specialist

To ensure compliance with safety standards and quality assurance protocols, the full-time Texas Licensed Lab QA Specialist will develop, coordinate, and maintain department policies while providing employee training and education, with some flexibility for remote work opportunities. Key responsibilities Coordinates the laboratory safety team and ensures adherence to safety standards and regulations Establishes and maintains regulatory compliance and safety policies as required by external regulatory agencies Oversees department quality plans and monitors laboratories for compliance, reporting findings to administrative teams Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience 4 years of experience in a laboratory setting Certification in one of the following: ASCP-BB, ASCP-C, ASCP-CG, ASCP-CT, ASCP-H, ASCP-HT, ASCP-HTL, ASCP-M, ASCP-MB, ASCP-SBB, ASCP-SC, or equivalent Knowledge of laboratory regulations, protocols, and procedures Ability to provide training and continuing education opportunities for staff
