Action Against Hunger USA (ACF USA) is part of the Action Against Hunger International network, a global leader in the fight against hunger operating in over 50 countries with programs focused on nutrition, health, climate resilience, food security, and emergency response. We manage operations in Kenya, South Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Haiti, working alongside communities to address the root causes of hunger and strengthen resilience.

We are seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Officer, Partnerships and Communications to grow brand awareness, strengthen audience engagement, and support donor acquisition through marketing, storytelling, and partnerships within our External Relations team.

About the Role

The Senior Brand Marketing Officer will lead marketing initiatives that expand Action Against Hunger's reach and connect brand storytelling with measurable engagement and fundraising outcomes.

Reporting to the Director of Brand & Communications, this role will develop and execute brand campaigns, content strategies, and partnerships across organic marketing and digital channels. The Senior Brand Marketing Officer will work closely with fundraising, donor marketing, and global communications colleagues to attract new supporters, improve donor retention, and support sustainable and recurring giving.

This role is ideal for an experienced marketer with strong analytical and writing skills who enjoys developing strategy, testing new ideas, building partnerships, and carrying campaigns through execution in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute organic marketing strategies that increase awareness, generate donor leads, and build lasting supporter engagement.
• Lead integrated brand campaigns, including World Food Day and World Humanitarian Day, that support fundraising and audience growth.
• Lead a website refresh to improve navigation, content, organic traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
• Identify and manage strategic brand partnerships that expand reach and connect Action Against Hunger with new audiences.
• Translate program impact and technical expertise into compelling stories, campaigns, and thought leadership content for donors, media, and the public.
• Collaborate with fundraising, communications, partnerships, programs, and country offices to align marketing initiatives and strengthen donor retention.
• Establish KPIs, manage brand performance dashboards, and use insights to improve engagement, conversion, and fundraising outcomes.
• Test messaging, creative assets, channels, landing pages, and user journeys to improve marketing performance.
• Monitor digital trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve processes and campaign delivery.
• Share brand partnership and organizational updates with employees to support internal awareness and engagement.
• Manage external agencies, consultants, freelancers, or interns as needed.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field. An MBA or master's degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of marketing experience driving measurable business or brand growth.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate performance data into practical recommendations.
• Exceptional communication, writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work across a global, matrixed organization and collaborate with colleagues in international markets.
• Highly organized and detail oriented, with initiative, ownership, and the ability to adapt as priorities evolve.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency required. Working knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus, but not essential.
• Commitment to Action Against Hunger's mission, integrity, and respectful collaboration with diverse teams.
• Availability for domestic and international travel, including field visits, and work outside normal office hours as required.
