Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.80 / Hour Job Schedule: Tuesday 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM Thursday 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with location protocols, including reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy concerns. Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and assist with security‑related support during medical emergencies, visitor issues, and/or operational disruptions. Minimum Requirements: Hospital vaccine requirements must be met. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Have 2 or more years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
