About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join the Energy & Power group focused on IPP & Thermal Generation transactions.In this role, you will: Execute capital markets and M&A transactions for our corporate clientsPresent complex ideas and analyses to internal and external partiesGenerate strategic content, including industry analysis and product-specific conceptsCoordinate deliverables with internal product partnersManage day-to-day project workflowsRequired Qualifications5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired QualificationsExperience in the Power sectorExperience with transactions in the IPP/Thermal Generation spaceLarge acquisition financing experienceCompany or asset sellside and buyside experienceAbility to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to lead and coach junior staffJob Expectations Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
