Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and sophisticated laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols meticulously.
• Interpret results for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples as necessary for testing.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and ensure adherence to quality standards in the lab.
• Sustain a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
