Description - Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Assess test results with precision, address discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and help maintain the highest standards of quality in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, complying with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with plans to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your tenure.
