Sleep Medicine Physician OpportunityLovelace Medical Group is searching for a skilled BE/BC Sleep Medicine Physician for an employed opportunity in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico.About the Position:Lovelace Medical Group Sleep Clinic36 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week, Monday–FridayTeam of 2 physicians and 1 NPNo APP supervision responsibilitiesNo callSleep Medicine practice focused on comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disordersCollaborative multidisciplinary environment working closely with Pulmonology, Neurology, Psychiatry, ENT, and Primary Care providersOpportunity to interpret polysomnography (PSG), MSLT, MWT, HSAT, and PAP titration studiesManage CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV therapy, including initiation, adjustment, troubleshooting, and long-term follow-upEvaluate and treat insomnia, hypersomnia, parasomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, sleep-related movement disorders, and sleep-related breathing disordersOpportunity to participate in research, outcomes studies, and quality improvement initiativesTelemedicine opportunities available for sleep consultations and follow-up careEmphasis on patient education, sleep hygiene, PAP adherence, and long-term treatment successOn-site X-raysSmart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding, leading to better work-life balance and revenue.Required Qualifications:Board Certification in Sleep Medicine (ABIM, ABFM, ABPN, or ABSM pathways).Completion of an ACGME-accredited Sleep Medicine FellowshipBackground in Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine with additional Sleep Medicine trainingActive state medical license and DEA registration, or ability to obtainDemonstrated expertise in sleep disorder evaluation and managementExperience evaluating and treating insomnia, hypersomnia, parasomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, sleep-related movement disorders, and sleep-related breathing disordersExperience interpreting polysomnography (PSG), MSLT, MWT, HSAT, and PAP titration studiesProficiency managing CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV therapyEvidence-based diagnosis and treatment planning for complex sleep-related breathing disordersAbility to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care teamPreferred Qualifications:Experience with behavioral sleep medicine or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)Board Certification in Sleep Medicine (ABIM, ABFM, ABPN, or ABSM pathways)Knowledge of upper airway and ENT-related contributors to sleep-disordered breathingExperience providing telemedicine and virtual sleep medicine servicesParticipation in clinical research, outcomes studies, or quality improvement initiativesStrong patient-centered communication skills focused on sleep hygiene, PAP adherence, and long-term treatment successRecruitment Package may include:Base salary + wRVU production incentiveCME allowanceSign-on bonusMedical debt assistance + Consultative services by Navigate Student LoansRelocation allowanceResidency stipendPaid malpractice coverageHealth benefits + Retirement planMarketing + practice growth assistanceThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, J-1 waiver sponsorship, or other immigration assistance at this time.
