Business Analyst

The Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) Automation Technical Business Analyst will analyze and translate the business needs and assess the feasibility for enhancements to existing knowledge management resources or building new content in Horizon Confluence. In this role, the resource will elicit and document the business and functional requirements, generate process and data flow diagrams, and craft user guides and videos. The resource will work directly with technical experts to translate their standards and guidelines into consumable knowledge content for any technical end user. Location: Jersey City, New Jersey Job type: Contract Salary: $46.18 - $56.18 per hour Responsibilities As a Business Analyst, also responsible for maintaining this content through any changes or updates. 5years of experience in technical writing or Agile User Experience (UX) required. Knowledge Management, DevOps, Scripting, and Technical Writing skills. Experience working in Agile methodology and a deep understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Qualifications Understanding of how technology interacts with other technology. Experience with Horizon Confluence and/or building of user interfaces. Highly organized and motivated to deliver results with minimal direction. Creative and proactive problem‑solver – ability to understand what the team needs and offer suggestions above and beyond what they desire. Naturally curious and quickly becomes the authority in the various data and systems used by the team. Strong relationship, team‑building and facilitation skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Visio. Strong understanding of Confluence and Jira. Familiarity with Ansible and Terraform.
