Financial Coach

Overview Financial Coach is responsible for servicing Empower’s workplace participants with investment and financial wellness advice. The role focuses on education, personalized planning, and client retention, contributing to key growth initiatives such as net promoter score and asset consolidation. Responsibilities Lead education, advice, and wellness conversations to help participants select appropriate financial planning and investment options. Work with participants enrolled in in‑plan managed account offerings during high‑volume periods. Leverage online planning tools and conversation guides to improve customer experience. Provide direct advice using Empower’s proprietary financial planning tools and help customers adopt solutions in their best interests. Manage inbound queues and appointments to meet critical service timeframes and maintain high‑quality customer experiences. Make outbound calls as needed. Adhere to compliance and risk procedures, focusing on participant best interests. Identify, execute, and follow up on opportunities to contract additional client assets while providing retirement planning discussions. Identify trends and develop proactive solutions to maximize service quality and increase assets under management. Meet monthly performance expectations and implement coaching to achieve goals. Advance your career through internal development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. FINRA 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) registrations required within corporate‑established timelines. FINRA fingerprinting required. Applicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S.; visas are not sponsored. Suitable at‑home space to focus on work and participate in video meetings. Experience in inbound and outbound phone roles. What Will Set You Apart Demonstrated success in performance roles or similar experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle stressful customer interactions consistently. Consultative skills to understand needs and present customer‑focused solutions. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology systems. Experience managing multiple priorities and handling stressful situations in customer service. Compensation Base Salary Range: $58,500 – $72,000. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, licensure, and skill level.
