Role Specific Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and/or responsible parties regarding respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge procedures, ensuring understanding.
- Accept reassignment to other units as needed.
- Share clinical knowledge and serve as a role model for best practices among staff and students.
- Plan, implement, and assess the effectiveness of respiratory care services.
- Deliver respiratory care as prescribed by physicians, maintaining effective communication with medical and nursing staff.
Education
- Associate's degree required
