Job Summary

A healthcare services organization in Pasadena, CA is seeking a TEMPORARAY Benefits Administrator for a contract opportunity supporting employee benefits and retirement program administration. This 100% onsite role is ideal for a benefits professional who enjoys helping employees, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring benefit programs are administered smoothly and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer employee benefits and retirement programs in accordance with plan requirements, internal procedures, and compliance standards.
- Advise employees on benefits eligibility, insurance coverage, hospitalization benefits, claims procedures, and related questions.
- Maintain accurate benefits records and prepare documentation needed to implement, update, or verify benefits coverage.
- Support benefits audits, reporting, analysis, and compliance-related documentation.
- Assist with reviewing benefit plan information to help maintain alignment with current trends, regulations, and organizational needs.
- Partner with internal HR team members to deliver timely, accurate, and professional employee support.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $35 to $39 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Assignment length: 4+ months.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Location: Pasadena, CA.
- Work arrangement: 100% onsite.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Administer employee benefits and retirement programs.
- Support employee benefits questions, eligibility reviews, and claims-related inquiries.
- Maintain benefits records, documentation, audits, and reporting.
- Partner with HR colleagues to ensure accurate and compliant benefits administration.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll and benefits administration, human resources, or a related area.
- Working knowledge of employee benefits, retirement plans, eligibility processes, insurance coverage, and claims procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and confidential employee information.
- Ability to interpret benefits information and communicate clearly with employees and internal partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Professional, service-oriented communication style and a collaborative approach to HR support.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting benefits administration in a healthcare services environment.
- Experience assisting with benefits audits, reporting, compliance documentation, and employee enrollment processes.
- Familiarity with HRIS, benefits administration systems, or payroll and benefits platforms.
