Area ManagerA growing and highly regarded hospitality group is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple high-volume bakery café locations throughout Queens and Long Island. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about hospitality, and knows how to build strong teams while driving operational excellence.The Area Manager will work closely with store leadership teams to maintain exceptional product quality, elevate the guest experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive sales and profitability across all locations. This role requires a strong operator who leads by example, communicates effectively, and is comfortable being in the shops daily to support teams and uphold standards.Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple bakery café locationsEnsure all locations maintain company standards for quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and operational executionMonitor KPIs, sales performance, labor, and profitability while supporting managers in achieving goalsRecruit, train, mentor, and develop management and hourly teamsConduct regular store visits, operational audits, and quality control checksManage inventory levels and minimize waste through proper controls and oversightFoster a guest-focused culture and address customer feedback professionally and proactivelyReview Yelp, Google, and other guest feedback platforms to identify opportunities for improvementPartner with upper management on operational strategies, staffing needs, and business initiativesEnsure compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitation regulationsConduct regular meetings with management teams to communicate updates and operational prioritiesQualifications:Minimum 3 years of multi-unit management experience within hospitality, restaurant, café, bakery, or QSR environmentsStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsHands-on operator who enjoys coaching and developing teams in the fieldOrganized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple locations simultaneouslyComfortable working a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededProficient with Google Workspace including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and DriveMust be able to travel regularly between Queens and Long Island locationsReliable transportation strongly preferredCompensation & Benefits:$85,000–$90,000 base salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offEmployee discountsGrowth opportunity with an expanding hospitality brandThis is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional seeking a high-impact leadership role with a growing and team-oriented organization.
