As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Specialist in Sunnyvale, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sunday: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, common areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or unauthorized entry through visible presence and routine interaction. Support loss prevention and store personnel with security‑related concerns, documentation, and/or escalated situations while maintaining professionalism in a fast‑paced environment. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
