Human Resources (HR) Generalist

We are looking for an HR team member to support hiring operations in Texas, with a strong emphasis on creating a smooth and organized onboarding experience for new employees. This contract position with the potential to become permanent is well suited for someone who enjoys coordinating pre-employment steps, managing documentation, and keeping hiring activities on track. The ideal candidate may bring generalist experience or be early in their HR career, but should be comfortable handling multiple administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy and a high standard of work.Responsibilities:• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees across a variety of positions, ensuring each step is completed accurately and on schedule.• Manage new employee checklists, collect required employment documents, and track outstanding items through completion.• Arrange pre-employment requirements such as background screenings, drug tests, and motor vehicle record checks.• Maintain employee information within HR systems and confirm records are updated, complete, and compliant.• Assist with benefits-related administrative tasks and help answer routine employee questions during the onboarding process.• Partner with hiring managers and internal teams to schedule orientation steps, start dates, and other employment-related activities.• Support employee relations and day-to-day HR administration by responding to requests and escalating issues when appropriate.• Help coordinate HR process updates and administrative changes within systems or workflows as assigned.
