Data Analyst Revenue Cycle

Role Description

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics has a newly created opportunity for a Data Analyst of Revenue Cycle to work within both the Overlake Medical Center & MultiCare Health Systems. Candidates should have experience with EPIC Clarity, Power BI Query, and Excel.

• Responsible for financial analysis related to existing operations, productivity, budget variance, and new service development.
• Review and evaluate existing and new programs/services and offer recommendations for enhancement or improvement.
• Participate in the annual operating and capital budget development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• HFMA membership desired.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in financial analysis; healthcare experience preferred.
• EPIC experience - Clarity database highly preferred.
• Power BI - Query preferred.
• Excel - experience (moderate to advanced) preferred.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Demonstrate high-level understanding in using and/or maintaining a Decision Support System.
• Ability to understand medical cost structures as it relates to service line distinctions and revenue streams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and handle stressful situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills desired.
