Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups employing both standardized tests and observational analysis.
• Craft individualized care plans tailored to address both immediate goals and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing concerns.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions centered on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to develop integrated care solutions.
• Provide educational resources for patients and families, facilitating progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the patient's recovery journey.
• Maintain precise and prompt documentation in compliance with applicable state, federal, and institutional standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development, remaining informed of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be completed within the first 30 days of employment.
