Project Assistant

This position supports engineering projects by collaborating/assisting the Project Manager and engineering team in providing administrative project information as requested. Duties can include:

• Project Number set-up in PPS (practical project steering)
• Update budget information in PPS
• Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) list
• Assist in preparation of client proposals
• Create project specific spreadsheets
• Create task list from meetings for distribution to the project team for the project manager
• Compile business reports
• Recommend and maintain appropriate communication and protocol for questions related to the project
• Produce and maintain RFI logs (request for information)
• Initiate project related letters when requested
• Assist in writing project reports with inserted photographs
• Updating engineering specifications and changes.
• Collect and distribute client bills and invoices.
• General administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred

2. 1-3 years previous administrative experience preferred. Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

3. Excel testing required

4. Candidates should possess problem-solving and analysis skills and should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft OneNote is desirable.
