The Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing clinical case management services to clients in an inpatient psychiatric setting. There is also the opportunity to provide individual and family clinical interventions and psychoeducation, along with the possibility of doing groups.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesPay Grade: NC14Salary Range: $52,592.00 - $92,036.00A Sign-on bonus of $5,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:Requires thorough knowledge of social work principles, techniques and practices, and their application to complex problems associated with child psychiatric treatment.This position requires considerable knowledge of a wide range of behavioral and psychosocial problems and their treatment.Knowledge of individual, family and group dynamics is required.Considerable knowledge of the laws, regulations, and policies associated with child psychiatric treatment.Skill is needed in establishing rapport with clients and in applying techniques of assessing psychosocial, behavioral, and psychological aspects of client’s problems.This position is Exempt from certain provisions of The State Human Resources Act (GS 126)This position is designated as mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.We will be recruiting for multiple positions with this post.
